Kelly Ottoson is the Intellectual Property Strategy Associate at CSU Strata, responsible for managing areas of the intellectual property portfolio, conducting patentability research and guiding decisions on technologies and technology commercialization. She oversees the identification, evaluation, and protection of groundbreaking inventions from university researchers, ensuring they maximize their value and impact.

Kelly is a registered Patent Agent with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). She brings extensive experience in preparing and prosecuting domestic and foreign patent applications, specializing in chemical formulations, biological materials, testing and assay platforms, and processes and methods related to chemical and biological production.

Kelly holds dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Biomedical Engineering and Chemical and Biological Engineering from CSU.
