Specialty Crops

The Specialty Crops Program at Colorado State University empowers growers and producers throughout Colorado by supplying them with science-based information to inspire innovation, competitiveness, and success. The program collaborates with researchers both in Colorado and nationally to address the needs of specialty crops producers.

Specialty Crops are defined by the USDA as fruits and vegetables, tree nuts, dried fruits, and nursery crops (including floriculture and sod).
