Kelly joined the technology transfer team in 2021. She assists in intellectual property (IP) strategy and portfolio management, conducting market research and guiding decisions on technologies and technology commercialization. Previously, Kelly worked as a patent agent preparing and prosecuting domestic and foreign patent applications. Her areas of expertise include chemical formulations, biological material, testing and assay platforms, and processes and methods related to chemical and biological production.
As a proud CSU alumna, Kelly works to support the innovative and collaborative environment that fostered her lifelong learning attitude. She holds dual bachelor of science degrees in Biomedical Engineering and in Chemical and Biological Engineering. Kelly is a registered Patent Agent with the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
