Ambassador Program
The year-long Ambassador Program enhances the value of our technology transfer initiative, connecting CSU students with faculty and resources.
Graduate students and postdoctoral fellows serve as Ambassadors, benefiting from career development opportunities, enhancing their non-technical communication skills, and networking with the Northern Colorado entrepreneurial community.
Since its launch in 2012, there have been more than 40 Ambassadors from 21 departments across all eight CSU Colleges (Agricultural Sciences, Business, Engineering, Health and Human Sciences, Liberal Arts, Natural Sciences, Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, and Natural Resources). Each academic year, 5-10 Ambassadors are chosen for the program.
CSU Ventures has partnered with Innosphere Ventures Associates to provide Ambassadors with skill development opportunities and access to startup organizations engaged in business development. During the pilot year of the Innosphere Ventures Student Associates & University Ambassadors program, Ambassadors worked directly with a client manager who facilitated and directed engagement with designated client companies.
